Over the past 13 years, nearly $200,000 in arts scholarships has been awarded to Johnson County high school seniors. Over 750 area students have been recognized for their artistic talents, and more than 200 have continued their education with the help of a Shooting Stars Scholarship.
The Shooting Stars Recognition, Awards, and Scholarships Program is sponsored by the Arts Council of Johnson County. The program’s intent is to celebrate the artistic talent of our youth and support our young people’s creative exploration by providing college scholarships.
